Liam arrived about 8:15, with his sister's green sweater on...he loves it too! and wouldn't let it go, so Dad was OK with that. Liam was a happy baby...played in his little cart and spent a long time on the floor. I got out the big baby fire truck, rattles, telephone and he played with them, pushing them out of grasp and then slithering to them. He didn't exactly crawl, but he covered some ground. Breakfast at 9 was cereal, a whole pot of pears and his bottle. I kept him up till 10 and he fell right asleep. I find that patting him on the back for about a minute or two relaxes him and he goes to sleep better. I plan to wake him up if he doesn't wake himself about 11 or so and then doing a little walk. I want him to sleep more in the afternoon. I'm finding he sleeps about 2 1/2 hours during the day cumulatively, and if he does 2 hours in the morning, he's real fidgety and jumpy in the afternoon and hardly sleeps at all. And I figure we're going for doing away with the morning nap.
Liam went outside with me while I finished planting the daffodil bulbs and then we sat on the porch together. For lunch, a whole berry pot, turkey and sweet potato combo (all) and his bottle. He seemed hungry but waited till 12:30 like a good guy. Down for nap at 2:15. He's been on his tummy a lot this afternoon and wiggles around quite well. Two bm's.
Speaking of which, little miss Raina has had two today also. in her pants, of course. She had peanut butter on bagel and apple and juice for lunch. Talked about her snack at school. Didn't seem that interested. Down for nap at 2:15 also, as are grandma and grandpa.
